Class Cancellation Guidelines
When LOD Cancels a Class
Due to unforeseen circumstances Leadership and Organization Development (LOD) may occasionally have to cancel a class. Examples of why a class may be canceled include inclement weather, low enrollment or trainer illness/emergency.
Notification Methods for Cancelled Classes:
/ You will recieve an email from email@example.com
/ Notices will be posted on the WVU LOD web page.
Should you have any questions or concerns about whether a class may be cancelled, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When You Need to Cancel/Unenroll from a Class
If you cannot make a class as planned, unenroll at least 48 hours in advance so your spot can be released to another learner on the waiting list.
Instructions to Unenroll:
/ Scroll down the menu on the left side and select "My Profile".
/ In the tabs, click "Unenroll".
/ Click the "Drop Class" button - If the "Drop Class" button is not available, contact email@example.com.
/ Click the blue "Cancel Registration" button.
/ Successful "Cancel Registration Transaction(s) Completed" will appear in green box at the top of your "My Dashboard".
